Pronouns 101 belongs to the Positive Space workshop series I helped develop at UBC — in rigorous collaboration with subject-matter experts, a facilitator team, and UBC's Equity & Inclusion Office — and facilitated across campus through a year-long pilot totalling more than 400 workshop hours. Following further training and collaboration at SFU, I adapted the series for TRIUMF's context.
Key outcomes — tap to expand
Developed at UBC alongside subject-matter experts, a team of facilitators, and the Equity & Inclusion Office, ensuring the content met the institution's equity standards before it reached a single participant.
Facilitated strategically across the UBC campus through a year-long pilot, totalling more than 400 hours of workshops with staff and faculty audiences.
Strengthened through further training and collaboration at SFU, then adapted for TRIUMF's environment — carrying proven, well-tested content across three institutions.
Aligned to the Canadian Human Rights Act and organizational ethical standards, meeting both legal and professional benchmarks for respectful-workplace education.
